barf bagged

last achievement i got from Left 4 Dead was Barf Bagged. it looks like i won't be playing L4D a lot anymore since my disc-scratching Xbox 360 claimed another victim. i had been playing the game when i accidentally knocked down the console. from then on, i kept seeing pixelated graphics; very annoying! can't wait to get my hands on the sequel coming in november.

2 nights ago i upgraded my Xbox Live membership to Gold. i have been playing special infected roles once more. and today, i bagged another achievement; a total of 3 new achievement since Man Vs. Tank. my right wrist hurts right now.

Pelham weekend

yesterday, i got off Pelham Bay to visit the City Island. afterward, i watched The Taking of Pelham 123 starring Denzel Washington. this afternoon, i watched the original version of The Taking of Pelham One Two Three starring Walter Matthau.

back from hell

it's been almost 2 weeks since i returned from the middle east. i've been enjoying every moment of my time here. i feel i just got out of prison. although last weekend was nice, i'm surprised that the cold weather still lingers. in any case, it's way better than the heat i had experienced in the middle east. hope i won't be traveling abroad again this season.

time's up

my break is over. i only have a few hours left before i head out to the airport. i've spent most of the day just soaking up the comforts of my home. it's going to be a while before i return to a normal life again. my wish is that my trip will be cut short.

home sweet home

i arrived on april 2 and it's good to be back after being away for more than a month. i almost didn't make it back. after all the ruckus the client had caused, they finally changed their mind and allowed me to return home. sadly i only have a week here in the States before i return to Saudi Arabia for about 2 months. it's going to be a busy week for me running errands and continuing my work. i'm trying to balance my hectic week with some relaxation too.
